Product description
✔ STRIP THE INSULATION, EXPOSE THE WIRE: Stripping insulation from conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.5 to 6 mm²—from thin doorbell wires to heavy-duty power cables—is part of everyday work in residential electrical installations.
✔ INSULATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH IEC 60900: Rated voltage 1,000 volts, VDE and GS marks. The insulation withstands a tensile force of 500 newtons and a cold test at minus 40 degrees.
✔ FOR OUTLETS, LIGHT FIXTURES, AND JUNCTION BOXES: Prepare the wires for the terminals, connect the light fixtures, and install the junction boxes. Suitable for cables with an outer diameter of up to 5 mm.
✔ LIMITATIONS OF THE TOOL: Thicker wires with a diameter greater than 5 mm should be cut with a wire cutter. Furthermore, an insulated tool is never a substitute for checking that the wire is de-energized.
