Product description

✔ CONTACTLESS SWITCHING: The capacitive proximity switch detects metals, plastics and liquids in a detection range < 10 mm. Note: The switching distance is reduced for weakly conductive materials such as dry powder or oil.

✔ PROTECTION CLASS IP67: The nickel-plated brass housing is completely dust-tight and can withstand short-term immersion to a depth of 1 m. Coolant splashes, dust and moisture are no problem for the sensor.

✔ WIDE SUPPLY VOLTAGE: 6-36V DC (e.g. 12V mains adapter, 24V industrial supply or 36V battery). Please note: A step-up converter to 12V is recommended for operation on a developer board (5V). Maximum switching load 200 mA.

✔ SWITCHING LOGIC: Capacitive proximity switch with NPN output and normally open (NO) function. The output closes to ground and is compatible with common PLC inputs. Ideal for level detection and bulk solids monitoring.

✔ SCOPE OF DELIVERY: Capacitive proximity sensor ?30mm + 2 x nut, thread M30, length 70mm, open cable ends 120cm, insulation resistance 50MOhm. Connection: Brown = supply plus, blue = GND, black = signal output.
